Important Beings in the Mythos.
YOG-SOTHOTH

  • Yog Sothoth, a.k.a. Lurker at the Threshold, Ramasekva, Tawil at'Umr and The Beyond One.
  • Said to be the personification of Time and Space.
  • Father of Both Hastur And Cthulhu.
  • While it is said Yog Sothoth exists in all places at all times, can only physically manifest under certain circumstances, like when it is summoned.
  • To summon Yog Sothoth, one must construct a great stone pillar surrounded by a circle of standing stones. (This circle of standing stones would look much like Stonehenge.)
  • There are two main dates that this summoning takes place,Lammas (August 1st) And May Eve (April 30th).
  • Yog Sothoth may be summoned on other dates, but the success rate will be much, much lower.
Yog Sothoth may be summoned on other dates, but the success rate will be much, much lower.
  • Those who worship Yog Sothoth can gain limited control over time and space, but at a terrible cost. Their souls are binded to Yog Sothoth for all of eternity and nothing, perhaps not even the destruction of the universe, can break that bond.
  • A family of cultists by the name Whateleys had a special relationship with Yog Sothoth and the mother gave birth to two sons which were tainted by him to different degrees.
  • Worshiped By us, And the Mi-Gos under the name of The Beyond One.
  • The Picture on the left is our God, Yog-Sothoth.
